Hugo’s interests are in the prevention of eye diseases and in digital health integration in eye disease prevention. He is a medical doctor and holds an MPH in Global Public Health.

Background

Hugo obtained his MBBS degree from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. After working for several years as a clinician and later as a hospital administrator in Nigeria, he came to the UK, where he subsequently completed a Masters in Global Public Health at ARU.

Dr Onumajuru works as a Research Assistant (Prevention of Eye Diseases) at ARU's Vision and Eye Research Institute (VERI).
