Dr Hassiba Fadli has built up extensive knowledge in education and economy from work and research in both the commercial and not-for-profit sectors.

She also has extensive knowledge of logistics and supply chain management, particularly dissecting the sustainability process through the supply chain using a life cycle assessment.

Hassiba particularly seeks to apply creativity in management education to create an interrelation between education for sustainability and behavioural change, in the context of the Teaching Excellence Framework (United Kingdom).

Background

Hassiba joined ARU in September 2022 after she was awarded her PhD in Management Education here. She has a unique combination of academic and business experience.

Prior to starting her Master's and PhD, she graduated as a mechanical engineer and worked for Schneider Electric Algeria for more than three years.

Before joining ARU, Hassiba also worked for ten years as an independent publisher and magazine editor interested in education and changing behaviour.

When she joined ARU, Hassiba focused her interest on using creativity and creative teaching and learning to achieve the United Nations SDG 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, and the Principles for Responsible Management Education (UNPRME).
