Summary of research

Evie's research focusses on the history of genetic admixture in the population of Madagascar, specifically considering how assortative mating and natural selection have contributed to current patterns of phenotypic and genetic diversity. This work will investigate how marriage systems have impacted genetic and phenotypic variation among different Malagasy ethnic groups.
