Anglia Ruskin University gets positive vibes from its international students

The full results from the International Student Barometer (ISB) survey show that Anglia Ruskin University has been given some excellent ratings from international students studying at the University.

The survey results give international student’s satisfaction rankings for the previous academic year relating to their experience of learning, living and the support they received from the University.

The highly positive results show that Anglia Ruskin University was ranked in the top 10 within the categories of Earning Money, Finance and Visa Advice.  In addition, when performance was benchmarked against other similar universities, Anglia Ruskin University came top in Academic’s English (lectures which are clear and easy to understand), Language Support, Meeting Students (from other countries and friends from the UK), and helping students to sort finance options.

Anglia Ruskin was compared to a specific group of universities including the University of East Anglia, Sheffield Hallam, Middlesex, Hertfordshire, DeMontfort and Essex.

Anglia Ruskin University’s overall satisfaction ratings were Learning 86.3%, Living 86.5% and Support 84.2%.

Speaking about the results, Caroline Shanahan, Head of International Student Support, said:

"We are very pleased with the results which show that we are communicating well with our international students.  Our student level of satisfaction was higher than the 75% benchmark which we need to achieve and our aim is to improve on this year on year."

"Anglia Ruskin is an all-inclusive university which is working well for both UK and overseas students, particularly in terms of providing the much-needed financial support all students need to be able to focus fully on their studies."
