ARU MA student wins Stratford Salariya Prize

Congratulations to MA Children’s Book Illustration student Katarina Dragoslavić (Devlin), who has won the 2022 Stratford Salariya Children’s Picture Book Prize.

Katarina’s book The Little Hungry Dinosaur impressed the judging panel with its ‘delightful illustrations’ and ‘imagination, skill and infectious sense of fun’. She takes away a prize worth £1,000, including career advice from a leading literary agent, publicity through Stratford Literary Festival and the possibility of publication by The Salariya Book Company.

The Stratford Salariya Children’s Picture Book Prize was established in 2016 by Stratford Literary Festival and The Salariya Book Company. Unpublished and unrepresented authors and illustrators are invited to submit a picture book suitable for children up to five years old.
