Andrea joined ARU in 2020 from clinical practice, as a Clinical Skills Tutor for our BSc (Hons) Operating Department Practice course. She is currently the admissions tutor for the course for both Chelmsford and Cambridge campuses.

Background

Andrea is a qualified operating department practitioner and is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.

She studied the Diploma in Higher Education in Operating Department Practice at Anglia Ruskin University and gained her clinical experience at Colchester Hospital University Foundation Trust.

As well as being a Clinical Skills Tutor, Andrea is also the Admissions Tutor for our Operating Department Practice course in Chelmsford.

 

Research interests

Andrea has completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Medical and Healthcare Education at Anglia Ruskin University. She is interested in research in areas of the Perioperative Environment
