Adam Taylor

Adam is a HCPC registered Paramedic and since 2014 has worked within primary/urgent care. He joined the team at ARU in November 2022. Prior to 2014 Adam worked with South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SCAS).

Background

Adam joined SCAS in 2011 after completion of his foundation degree. During his time with the Trust he undertook further education and was awarded a Bachelor’s degree 2014.  As well as working on emergency ambulances during this time Adam also acted as a clinical supervisor to clinical staff and students.

After leaving SCAS in 2014 Adam has exclusively worked within the primary and urgent care sector, namely, minor injury units, GP out of hours service and in-hour GP practices. Adam has continued to develop his clinical skills and has completed further study in minor illness/injury management and advanced clinical assessment, as well qualifying as a non-medical prescriber.

Adam now shares his time between teaching at ARU and working clinically in a GP practice.
