Andrea is set to drive corporate communications

Anglia Ruskin University has appointed a Corporate Communications Manager to develop the profile and reputation of the University.

Andrea Hilliard, a former student of the University, has joined Anglia Ruskin’s marketing team from the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) where she had worked for five years, most recently as a Corporate Relationship Manager.

As part of her new role with the fast-expanding University, based at Chelmsford and Cambridge, she will be responsible for building productive relationships with a network of individuals, organisations and communities from the East of England, in addition to managing the PR function and wider communications strategy.

A graduate in Business and Finance, her previous roles have seen her working for an Internet research company and an advertising agency.

Anglia Ruskin’s Director of Marketing, Alan Cain, said:

Andrea said:

Andrea arrives at Anglia Ruskin at a time of unprecedented expansion and development for the University as it moves to finalise the upgrade of its facilities for the benefit of nearly 30 000 students at its dual campus locations and new Joint Venture Partnership sites at Peterborough and Harlow.

Anglia Ruskin’s marketing team handle the University’s direct marketing campaigns; advertising, prospectus and website management; Open Day and event organisation; corporate development initiatives and media relations activities.
