For students coming from Azerbaijan to ARU

For entry to a bachelor’s degree (year 1), we will consider the following qualifications:

  • A recognised foundation programme
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma 
  • International Advanced Levels (A Levels)
  • One year of the 4 year Bachelors degree at a recognised Azerbaijani university with 60%

For entry to a Master’s degree, we will consider the following qualifications:

• A recognised pre-Masters course

• Bakalavr Diplomu (Bachelor degree) (awarded post 2004) with an overall average of 60% or Diplomu (Specialist Diploma) with an overall average of 60%

For entry to a research degree, we will consider overseas qualifications equivalent to a UK Master’s degree. Please visit our postgraduate research pages for more information on the application requirements.

Our standard entry criteria for postgraduate taught and postgraduate research courses is IELTS 6.5, with nothing lower than 5.5 in any of the four elements (listening, speaking, reading and writing).

If you don't meet our English language requirements, our Language Centre offers a range of courses which could help you achieve the level required for entry onto a degree course.
