7 November 2017, 13:00 - 14:00
As part of our sustainability lunchtime seminar series, Ann Finlayson is coming to talk to us about Education for Sustainable Development.
Ann has worked in the field of environmental education for over 30 years, including as Head of Education/Social Change at WWF-UK and the Commissioner for Education and Capability Building for the Sustainable Development Commission. In 2008, she took on the role of revamping CEE, now SEEd. Her seminar will focus on the types of transformative learning approaches required if we are to build a just and sustainable world for all, and will encourage participants to reflect on whether it is the approach, system or the purpose which requires change.
Open to all and free to attend, a tea, coffee and a light lunch will be provided
Ann will also be at ARU for the Young Change Makers conference, on Wednesday 8th November.
