About this event

This talk will look at what types of consumption may have a detrimental effect on our well-being and mental health. It will also look at individual differences that can impact on whether some types of consumption make people feel better.

Our speaker is Dr Cathrine Jansson-Boyd, a consumer psychologist with a passion for all things consumption related! She both teaches and researches topics related to consumer cognition and behaviour. Cathrine has worked with many organisations and companies to generate consumer insight; she has also written and edited several books and chapters on the topic.
