Helloooo freshers! From a third-year to you, welcome to the best few years of your life!
When I was a fresher, I remember being a bundle of nerves, excitement, and homesickness. But believe me; you’ll eventually make friends that will end up sticking around through thick and thin throughout the next couple of years. My biggest piece of advice to all of you is definitely this:
Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. Go out. Immerse yourself in the university experience. Go to the ‘Give it a Go’ sessions, go to as many taster sessions as you possibly can; and I promise you, you will find your people.
My summer was all-consuming with my sister’s wedding (picture of my sister and me right here ^_^) but with classes starting this week, for me, it’s – and I know it’s a cliché – the beginning of the end! *Gulp* I’m not sure how to be an adult after graduation. Suggestions? Anyone?
I’m keeping this post short, but hopefully I’ll be back soon with my usual art assignment stuff, general updates and definitely with an outline to your personal tutor system. I know, you’ve probably been told about it probably a gazillion times by this point, but it’s so very important that you use it properly; it can help you vastly improve your university performance!
