Join us for an engaging, informative (and gentle) getting started session designed for academic staff and professional services who are new to the world of AI,  which will include ChatGPT (and similar), as well as a look at media-based AI, and more.

In this workshop, we will demystify artificial intelligence and demonstrate how it can be a valuable tool and assistant in our work. Throughout the session, we will explore practical applications like creating lesson plans, writing job descriptions, writing correspondence, etc.  We will look at how students might be using AI and how they can benefit from it and will dispel any apprehensions you might have about integrating AI into education. By the end of this session, you will gain a clear understanding of common AI terms, discover some of the diverse ways AI can enhance your work, empowering you to harness its potential.
