VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage features hands-on training that focuses on installing, configuring, and managing VMware vSphere® 6, which includes VMware ESXi™ 6 and VMware vCenter Server™ 6. This course prepares you to administer a vSphere infrastructure for an organisation of any size and forms the foundation for most other VMware technologies in the software-defined data centre.
Completion of this course satisfies one of the prerequisites for taking the VMware Certified Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization (VCP6-DCV) certification exam. On completion, you will receive a 70% discount voucher for the certification exam.
This is a self-paced training course where you'll have up to four months to review the material and complete the labs.
By the end of the course, you'll understand vSphere 6 functions and features and be able to meet the following objectives:
You'll probably be a system administrator, system engineer or operator responsible for ESXi and vCenter Server and wanting to improve your skills in the administration of virtualised environments and/or pursuing the VMware Certified Professional 5 certification.
