Anglia Ruskin University is hoping to attract people from the East of England to its Chelmsford and Cambridge campuses for a day of discussions and activities, which will help to reveal the many higher education opportunities available to them.
The forthcoming Open Day on Saturday 21 November will allow potential students to find out more about undergraduate study opportunities at Rivermead campus, Chelmsford and East Road campus, Cambridge.
Brand new courses from Anglia Ruskin University’s various faculties will be showcased covering subjects including business, science, technology, the arts, law, social sciences, health, social care and education – and new buildings and facilities will be open to visitors.
Confirming the importance of this forthcoming Open Day event, Pat Watson, Head of Admissions at Anglia Ruskin University, said:
“Early application to courses is strongly advised due to increased pressure on a limited number of places. This Open Day is perfectly timed to help those wanting to go into higher education to make their choices before the UCAS deadline of 15 January.”
“Open Days give people the opportunity to speak to academic staff who can give in-depth information about courses answer queries and give much-needed guidance. Admissions staff are available to help with the completion of the application form and give advice on entry qualifications and other questions relating to the application process. Individuals get the opportunity to talk to the people who will be helping see you through the first stages of University education and so they are ideally placed to make sure that you are confident with your course choice.”
Anglia Ruskin University Open Days generally attract 800-1000 prospective students to the campus plus members of their family and friends. There are four Open Days staged during the year. Each one is a key recruitment day for Anglia Ruskin.
Those interested in attending one of the Open Days can pre-register online at www.anglia.ac.uk/openday or call 0845 271 3333 for more details on which courses are offered on which campus.
