12 November 2016, 15:00 - 16:30
This workshop session led by Dr Nick Wrycraft, Senior Lecturer in Mental Health, looks at what can be done to promote a sense of community and belonging for people within our society. Working from a mental health perspective we will consider how people feel included, but also some of the often subtle ways in which people can feel excluded and how we can overcome such issues. The workshop represents an opportunity to share and discuss ideas, learn about the challenges faced by people with mental health issues, but also how we might better promote inclusion, change perceptions, and also crucially how you can perhaps help to make a difference.
The event is part of Chelmsford Ideas Festival.
