Simon is Principal Lecturer in Academic Development at Anglia Learning & Teaching. His work involves collaborating with academic staff in faculties and partner colleges on maximising student success.
Simon is Principal Lecturer in Academic Development at Anglia Learning & Teaching. His focus is on working with partner colleges on maximising student success.
He works closely with Anglia Ruskin staff as well as partner colleges, to ensure that good practice in Learning and Teaching is shared across our University and among our partner colleges.
Simon works with colleagues from all faculties in developing our community in the field of Pedagogic Research in Higher Education across Anglia Ruskin.
He also works in the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education where his focus is on operationalising the strategic development of doctoral education in the faculty.
He has held a number of management posts across Anglia Ruskin including Deputy Dean in FHSCE, Head of the Department of Education, Head of Teacher Education, and Director of Research. Previously Simon led BA Education Studies and was the MA Education course director at London Metropolitan University and the State University of New York. He has taught on a wide range of education courses in the areas of school leadership and management, professional development of teachers, and sociology of education.
