The Vision and Eye Research Institute (VERI), formerly VERU, carries out ground-breaking research into eye diseases.

We have a number of key research areas including the epidemiology of eye disease, low vision, glaucoma, myopia and diabetic-related blindness. Explore our work in more detail by following the links below.

Our Institute is home to state-of-the-art laboratories, equipment and clinical areas, including consulting rooms, a diagnostic suite and a myopia laboratory.
