It is good security practice to change your password as soon as possible. Go to the Password Manager page and enter your short username (xyz123) and the characters shown on the picture. Click Next. Choose the option ‘Manage my password’. Enter your existing Date of Birth Password (ddmmyy) twice as required. Click next, then enter and confirm your new password.
You'll need to register with us to start your enrolment and let us know how you'll be paying your fees (if applicable). Do this before you arrive to make sure your timetable is ready for the first week of teaching. Registering will also activate your student email address, library access and student ID card. Log in to this using your short username and the password you just set in Password Manager or if you have not done this step, the password originally sent to you by firstname.lastname@example.org.
Online Induction Portal 24 hours after you've registered you'll receive an invite email from email@example.com. Log in to the portal using your FULL username (see above) and the new password you've just set on Password Manager.

All our Welcome events will be on the app so you can plan your Welcome week. When you change your password on e:Vision you'll need to update the password in the app too.

Canvas is your online learning portal where you can find course materials, speak to your lecturer and collaborate with other students. If you're accessing Canvas from a networked Anglia Ruskin machine, you will not need to log in as you'll be taken straight to your dashboard. If you access Canvas from outside the Anglia Ruskin network, you will be asked for your full username (eg firstname.lastname@example.org) and usual password.
