Data Scientist Degree Apprenticeship: sequence your future.

The emergence of big data and its use in biological research and discovery has led to a rapidly growing demand for talented professionals who can analyse and interpret biological data.

Launching in September 2019*, our groundbreaking Degree Apprenticeship will focus on the development of this unique skillset. Our work-based course will bring data science together with software engineering, biology and mathematics to provide the foundation for careers in this innovative and rapidly advancing profession.

*Planned for September 2019 subject to conditions.

There is a clear industry and academic need for developing the talent pool of data scientists and bioinformaticians. A key benefit of a degree structured in this way is that it increases the breadth of potential applicants
