We work in partnership with Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre in Chelmsford, so you can enjoy their swimming facilities for less. With just a ten-minute walk from our Chelmsford campus, Riverside boasts a range of swimming facilities including a 33-metre, six-lane main pool and diving pit with one-metre, two-metre and five-metre boards. There's also a separate 20-metre learner pool and an outdoor pool which is open during the summer months.
The facility is currently undergoing refurbishment, but there is no loss of pool access, except for a five to seven day full centre closure in November 2018; dates are yet to be confirmed. The development will replace the majority of the existing facilities with a new centre which includes a modern 25m x ten-lane swimming pool with a flexible barrier and depth control, a learner pool, a toddler splash zone and a flume.
