This popular event takes place on Sunday 4 March 2018. We have our biggest ever team running the race this year at 197 runners. On the day come along and cheer on the Anglia Ruskin Team and show us you're #ARUProud.

Entries for the Cambridge Half Marathon 2018 for Anglia Ruskin staff, students and alumni are closed. Entries for the 2019 Cambridge Half Marathon will open late October 2018 so watch our social media channels if you want to join our team.

Cambridge Half Marathon Blogs

Two of our runners are writing blogs in the build up to race day. Karan (a running novice) and Harmony (an experience runner) are both writing excellent blogs every couple of weeks that are being uploaded to the Anglia Ruskin University Blog website. The content includes how their training is going, what they are doing for training and how they are feeling about the race. Go and check the out at https://www.anglia.ac.uk/blogs?blogtags=Cambridge+Half+Marathon

You can join our online running community by sharing your training journey with us, just use the hashtag #ARUCHM18

Training Groups

If you've signed up to run as part of our team in 2018, we have running groups in both Cambridge and Chelmsford which are a great way to get marathon-ready. The groups are free and we'd love to see you there.

  • Cambridge: Wednesday 5.15-6.16pm, meet at Helmore Gym
  • Chelmsford: Tuesday 5.15-6.15pm, meet at Mildmay Sports Centre
