Language and Cognition Research Area members share some common interests in the areas of first and second language acquisition, memory, attention and executive functions.
Members use different methods of investigation including neuroimaging and computational techniques. Our research has received funding from the Leverhulme Trust and has been published in leading journals including Brain, Neuropsychologia, Cerebral Cortex, Journal of Neuroscience, Cortex, Brain & Language, Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience and Biligualism: Language & Cognition. Some members of this group recently formed the Multilanguage & Cognition (MULTAC) lab.
