The effects of urban landscape management on solitary ground nesting bees.
Stephanie is a member of our Applied Ecology Research Group.
The aim of this PhD is to elucidate the nesting biology of solitary ground nesting bees and to determine how current urban management practices influence the availability of suitable nest sites and floral resources. We are also interested in the spatial relationships between these resources and whether trait analysis can be used to predict the distribution of solitary bees in a landscape.
