JAMES Reaccreditation of Audio and Music Technology

Anglia Ruskin University’s Department of Computing and Technology proudly announces the third successful JAMES accreditation of their Audio and Music Technology Bachelor of Science Degree.

Course leader, Dr Stephen Oxnard said:

"It is hugely encouraging to receive recognition from the industry’s accrediting body. This outcome is a reflection not only of our efforts as an institution but also of the commitment and calibre of our students, past and present. Accreditation represents an invaluable metric by which students and employers can gauge the quality and relevance of courses in a holistic sense, above and beyond academic rigour. We are thrilled to be endorsed by JAMES."

Since receiving its first cohort of aspiring audio technologists back in 1995, the course has gone from strength to strength, receiving its first JAMES accreditation in 2011. Course alumni can be found in a diverse range of employment roles including acousticians, sound engineers, hardware designers, lecturers, and technicians.

Anglia Ruskin is still accepting applications for the 2018 academic year and strongly encourages prospective students to attend an open day to appreciate first-hand the benefits of studying at Anglia Ruskin.
