Nine out of ten of our students are in employment or further study six months after graduation, one of the highest employment rates of any UK university.

Four out of five of our graduates find work in professional or managerial jobs, with an average starting salary of £22,256 – above the UK national graduate average.

We rank consistently highly for student satisfaction. In the 2014 National Student Survey, 14 of our undergraduate courses received above 90% overall satisfaction, and a further seven courses received satisfaction above the national average (86%). Our postgraduate students also rank their satisfaction as among the highest in the UK.

Cambridge is a world-famous student city, renowned as a place of learning since the 13th century. Meanwhile, Chelmsford is the UK's newest city, and its most entrepreneurial too, with more start-ups than anywhere else in the country.

Many of our courses also offer the option of taking a sandwich placement year working in a relevant industry.

The quality and industry relevance of our courses is recognised by accreditation from 19 globally respected bodies including the Institute of Biomedical Science, Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences, British Psychological Society and Institution of Civil Engineers. Studying on an accredited course is the first step towards achieving professional recognition.

In the UK Government's 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF) assessment world-leading or internationally excellent research was found to be taking place in all areas of our faculty. Our lecturers are actively involved in our research, which means that you'll be exposed to the latest thinking and discoveries in your field.

As an international student, you'll be well-supported throughout your studies, with a dedicated personal tutor from day one and lecturing staff with an open door policy.

Our Students' Union runs societies that represent a wide range of interests, and our events and activities mean that there is always something fun happening both on and off campus.
