Studying computing at university can open up a wide range of interesting, and well-paid careers. We’ll take you through just a few of the many disciplines IT professionals specialise in.

We’ll start the day with an introduction to all the different types of careers in the IT sector and the degrees you might choose. We’ll also give you a taste of what you need to consider when building an App and take you through some of the practical aspects of using Google’s AppInventor. We'll also look at securing networks and exploring how you might prevent a cyber-security attack.
