Writtle University College and ARU have merged. Writtle’s full range of college, degree, postgraduate and short courses will still be delivered on the Writtle campus. See our guide to finding Writtle information on this site.

Quality of Life

Urban and community quality of life has become central to city planning and policy making. There are various social, environmental, physical, economic and psychological factors that are associated with the quality of life in a city.

Interrelated topics of research under this theme include health and wellbeing, medical devices and innovations, health and safety, experiential architecture and design, place-making, liveability, inclusivity.

We offer our Engineering and the Built Environment PhD. We've also identified a range of innovative research project opportunities for postgraduate researchers.
