*Gala dinner not included
Physician Associate Programmes are the fastest developing university courses in the UK, due to the rapidly rising demand and increased appreciation of the role of a PA. After the success of 2016, we are pleased to announce the return on The Physician Associate Educators' Conference in 2017. The theme of this year’s conference will focus on simulation-based medical teaching and learning.
We know that simulation offers students the opportunity to learn without the risks inherent in a real-life experience while aiming to develop safer patient care. This two day conference will offer clinical educators and academics an opportunity to refresh their knowledge on using simulation to facilitate student learning through immersion, reflection, feedback, and practice.
You will have the opportunity to learn about:
This is a great opportunity for networking and sharing best practice.
Day 1: A full day of key speakers and workshops with a gala dinner in the evening.
Day 2: A half-day of lectures and workshops. On the afternoon of day 2, the University's Board will host an educational meeting for universities involved in PA programmes. The summit will close at 3.30pm on 13 April.
The gala dinner will take place on the evening of 12 April at Essex Barn, Channels, Pratts Farm Lane East, Little Waltham, Chelmsford, Essex, CM3 3PT.
A coach will be provided for those requiring transport. This will collect/return to Anglia Ruskin University. You will be prompted to state whether you will require transport when booking.
The gala dinner will commence at 7.30pm with a drinks reception followed by a three-course sit down meal at 8pm.
The event is black tie.
