Ellen is a postgraduate researcher at Anglia Ruskin University and has a background in supporting survivors of sexual violence.

Background

Ellen has an employment background in organisations working to end sexual violence against women and children. Having spent 3 years as an Analyst/Senior Analyst at the Internet Watch Foundation, she has specialist knowledge in online child sexual exploitation. Ellen obtained a Distinction for her PG Cert from the Child and Woman Abuse Studies Unit at London Metropolitan University and is now working towards her PhD at Anglia Ruskin University. Ellen’s PhD research focuses on courtroom narratives at sexual offences trials and takes an intersectional feminist approach.
