Senay is a qualified dispensing optician and optometrist from Germany. She is interested in the processing of information in the visual system.
Senay works as a senior lecturer at the Vision and Hearing Sciences Department since July 2012. Her training in ophthalmic dispensing and optometry were obtained in Berlin, Germany. She joined Anglia Ruskin University after having completed her PhD in the Department of Life Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University in Glasgow, UK. Senay teaches in ophthalmic dispensing and optometry courses mainly related to the dispensing aspects of the profession. She is also a fellow of the higher education academy.
