Robert has been working with ARU for many years, teaching pre-registration and post-registration students. Over these years, he has been leading a wide range of courses and modules, including the BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing, the Degree Apprenticeships, Nursing Associate, MSc Diabetes Care and Doctorate schools.

Background

Robert was previously a lecturer at Homerton School of Health Studies, Homerton College, Cambridge. Prior to this, he practiced and taught  nursing in the UK (Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Infirmary); Sarnia, Ontario, Canada (Lambton College) and in Indonesia (Yogyakarta Health Politecthnic and Universitas Gadjah Mada).

His current teaching includes advanced diabetes management, research methodology and postgraduate major projects. Currently, Robert leads a Going Global Partnership project (TNE Nurse UKIND) in collaboration with Universitas Gadjah Mada, funded by British Council Indonesia.
