Patricia has clinical experience in many areas of mental health, most recently in Low Secure care.

Background

Patricia has many years’ experience as a nurse manager within secure care. This experience was gained working in hospitals and community in various areas of mental health including substance use, acute mental health, older person care and secure care.

  • Complementary medicine and mental health

Teaching

Patricia undertook some teaching whilst employed in clinical areas, principally in challenging behaviour and care of service users with personality disorder. She has one years’ experience at Anglia Ruskin University as a Clinical Skills Tutor for mental health. During this period she have taught on the adult curriculum and have taught at external workshops principally in physical health care issues.
