Omotayo Adenuga is an experienced midwife whose career has spanned over two decades. This includes clinical and academic practice in nursing and midwifery.
Omotayo commenced her practice as a nurse and midwife in Africa working extensively in rural and urban hospitals caring for clients with varied health needs. Her career in nursing and midwifery in the UK commenced in 1998 working in various Hospitals and community settings and she diversified into academic practice in 2010.
Her research interest includes student retention, mentorship and employability. Omotayo is currently on a Doctorate programme looking at student retention.
She facilitates learning and assessment on pre-registration and post-registration midwifery programmes.
