Natasha Ascott's main area of interest is in Pain Management and education.


Natatsha is currently a lecturer for the BSc Adult Nursing course and module tutor for the post registration Diabetes module. Prior to becoming a lecturer she worked as a clinical nurse specialist in the management of pain and she is in the process of redesigning the Pain module to run at both degree and masters level.

Natasha has an interest in interprofessional learning and she is currently helping to facilitate sessions for managing pain with a sister university. She is also the tutor for two groups of pre-registration nursing students.

Research interests

Natasha is in the process of researching areas of interests before commencing a PhD in the area of pain management.
