Hilary is an experienced academic with extensive experience in learning and teaching. He has completed research and evaluation of the delivery and organisation of health care services and has a special interest and expertise in researching culture, arts, health and wellbeing.

Background

Dr Hilary Bungay has been researching in the field of Arts and Health research for over 15 years and has been Principal and Co-investigator for a number of research projects exploring the impact of the arts on health and wellbeing.

As a member of steering group for the Special Interest Group for Arts Health and Wellbeing at the Royal Society of Public Health she plays an active role in developing the research agenda for arts, health and wellbeing. In addition to her research in the field of Arts and Health, Hilary also works with a local Air Ambulance Trust who fund a Research Fellow based within the University undertaking research and evaluation of their service.
