Petersfield and Chelmsford named in guide to the best places to live in the East
Anglia Ruskin University’s home locations of Petersfield and Chelmsford have been named by a national newspaper as among the best places to live in the East of England.
In the Sunday Times guide to the Best Places to Live 2019, the Cambridge area of Petersfield and Chelmsford were both named among the top ten towns and cities in the East of England. The guide looks at aspects such as schools, amenities and leisure facilities to help buyers find the best places to move to.
Petersfield was praised for its laid-back lifestyle and offering the perfect antidote to Cambridge’s more tourist-focused centre, while Chelmsford was described as a “powerhouse of schooling and shopping”. The guide highlights the presence of Anglia Ruskin in both areas, and mentions the British Science Festival in 2020, which is taking place at the Chelmsford campus.
