Anglia Ruskin’s Dr Ben Garrod brings his successful stage show to Cambridge

After a successful UK tour in 2017, Anglia Ruskin University’s Dr Ben Garrod is bringing his hugely popular stage show to Cambridge this spring.

Dinosaur aficionado Ben will present 'So You Think You Know About Dinosaurs?' at Anglia Ruskin’s Cambridge campus on Thursday, 24 March (2pm).

Pitting the knowledge of unwitting parents against their all-knowing children, Ben will deliver an interactive, educational and highly entertaining show aimed at ages five and upwards.

With the help of TV film footage from the BBC’s Planet Dinosaur and photos of his own palaeontological dinosaur digs, he will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about the deadliest predators to have roamed the planet, such as Tyrannosaurus rex, Allosaurus and Spinosaurus.

Ben’s an evolutionary biologist, primatologist, broadcaster and Teaching Fellow at Anglia Ruskin University, having completed his doctorate at University College London and the Zoological Society of London.

He has presented several television shows, including Attenborough and the Giant Dinosaur with Sir David Attenborough, Hyper Evolution: Rise of the Robots for BBC Four and The Day the Dinosaurs Died on BBC Two.  Ben also presented his own award-winning six-part series for the BBC called Secrets of Bones.

In addition to Cambridge 'So You Think You Know About Dinosaurs?' will be visiting venues up and down the country, from Exeter to Inverness. For further information and to book tickets, visit
