University Open Day is set to be a big draw for local students
Hundreds of young students from across the East of England are expected to descend on Anglia Ruskin University’s Chelmsford and Cambridge campuses on Saturday 7 May to discover more about the world of higher education.
Anglia Ruskin’s Open Day will include a full day of activities and discussions, with the faculties of Arts, Law & Social Sciences; Science & Technology; Education; Health & Social Care and the Ashcroft International Business School all on hand to provide information about the courses on offer.
The Open Day will also offer visitors the opportunity to find out what it is like to study at Anglia Ruskin and the pastoral support which is made available to students.
Staff from the University Support Services and the Students’ Union will be on hand to provide information about the university library, accommodation, careers services, financial issues, clubs and societies, student services and admissions.
Chris Jones, Anglia Ruskin’s Open Day Coordinator, said:
Anglia Ruskin Open Days usually attract between 800-1,000 prospective students to the campus, plus members of their family and friends. There are four Open Days staged throughout the year.
Anyone interested in attending the 7 May Open Day can pre-register online at www.anglia.ac.uk/openday or simply turn up on the day. For further information, please call 0845 271 3333.
