Have you got what it takes to become a paramedic? Find out at one of our taster days.Book your place
Take the first step toward a rewarding career as a paramedic with our degree in paramedic science.
Successful completion of the course and registration will allow you to work in diverse environments, delivering out-of-hospital care, including an opportunity to join an NHS ambulance service. The role of the paramedic in an ambulance trust can vary from working on an ambulance or response car carrying out emergency work, to the control room or even the helicopter emergency medical service or hazardous area response team.
Paramedics are increasingly being employed in the delivery of acute care in hospitals and in private healthcare too, for example, in event medicine at concerts or motor racing.
Please note that because of room restrictions, we can't include family or friends in taster day sessions. If they'd like to visit Anglia Ruskin, we recommend one of our Open Days.
We run our taster days on both campuses between October and December.
If you're considering both campuses we would suggest you attend a taster days at one campus and an Open Day at the other campus.
Please note that there are no more Paramedic taster days in Cambridge in the 2017/8 academic year. If you're interested in our Paramedic Science course, please attend one of our taster days in Chelmsford. The days are exactly the same, only the location is different.Book your place
