Enamul is a senior lecturer in biomedical science and leads the biochemistry and immunology themes across the Systems in Practice (SiP) phase of the MBChB course.
Enamul graduated with BSc (Honours) in Biochemistry from Dundee University before completing his doctorate at University of St Andrews. Following training in clinical immunology at NHS London, he moved into researcher roles focussed on immunoassay development at GSK and LGC.
Enamul progressed into higher education first in clinical physiology run by Middlesex University, before moving to ARU as part of healthcare science degree team. He has led on modules involving anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, professionalism, research methodology and postgraduate major project. He also co-ordinated the Masters courses in Orthopaedics and Urology at ARU. Enamul joined the School of Medicine in 2018.
