Jane is a qualified Management Accountant (ACMA) and has over 10 years experience as a senior lecturer. She is heavily involved with supporting UK and International partner institutions of the Lord Ashcroft International Business School.



Jane Hancock is a qualified management accountant with a 1st class BSc (Hons) degree in Accounting with Computing. She has industry experience in all aspects of Management Accounts and has experience as a lecturer in Management Accounting, Financial Accounting and Computerised Accounts (SAGE). She has substantial commercial and project management experience within a FMCG environment and has also worked in the voluntary sector, managing the development of a small national charity. She is an experienced link tutor for UK and International partner institutions.

Research interests

  • Social Care finance/funding: specifically in relation to Personalisation, Direct Payments, Individual Budgets


Jane is currently teaching management accounting to undergraduate students and has reduced her teaching activities due to Deputy Head of Department responsibilities.
