Forces in Mind Research Centre

We're proud to be hosting the Forces in Mind Research Centre, launched in 2017. The need for a research hub to improve understanding of veterans and families was first identified in 2014 by the Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT) and Lord Ashcroft, the Prime Minister's Special Representative for Veterans’ Transition.

The Veterans & Families Research Hub project was initiated by FiMT, Lord Ashcroft and ARU to:

"Provide an accessible, contemporary and authoritative repository of UK and international research-related resources and literature on military veterans and their families, including transitions to civilian lives, that informs and stimulates research, policy development, improved service delivery and journalistic enquiry."

Forces in Mind Research Centre Conference

The inaugural Forces in Mind conference takes place in Westminster, London, on 11 October 2018. It's a great chance to hear about research focused on veterans and families, explore funding opportunities, and network. Find out more and book your place today.
