If you provide veteran-specific support services for ex-Service personnel in the criminal justice system, we would like to hear from you!
The Veterans and Families Institute (VFI) at Anglia Ruskin University has been commissioned by the Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) on behalf of COBSEO, the Confederation of Service Charities, to collect information on service providers who offer support to ex-Service personnel in the criminal justice system. The RBLI will subsequently use this data for the production of a UK-wide Directory of Service Providers.
The Veterans & Families Institute at Anglia Ruskin University are pleased to announce that we are now working in collaboration with Her Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to map the existing support and services available to veterans in the UK Criminal Justice System.
By working collaboratively we aim to map the existing service provision available to veterans across the whole of the UK Criminal Justice System, from initial contact with the police to deciding the appropriate criminal justice course. All information will be available in an online directory and via an interactive map. This will be beneficial to stakeholders, service providers, and the veteran community.
Please note that we are only able to include services in the Directory that offer veteran-specific support.
