Mel is a registered nurse who qualified in 1996 and has worked clinically in adult acute care before joining Anglia Ruskin University on secondment in 2014.


Mel has worked in the acute care areas within large general hospitals before joining the Practice Development Team as Clinical Educator. She's a registered Nurse Teacher and is currently in the last year of her MSc in Medical and Healthcare Education.


Mel teaches on the Adult Pre-registration BSc(Hons) Nursing degree course and is module tutor for Maintaining Professional Healthcare Standards. She also teaches and facilitates external study days and workshops to the local Trusts and healthcare establishments.
