Sue has worked in education as a teacher, practitioner, researcher and academic for the past 30 years.
At the start of her career, Sue worked as a primary school teacher in Hampshire and Dorset before moving to the Peterborough area, where she again taught in primary schools.
During her time as a teacher, Sue developed an interest in the impact on learners of effective collaboration with the wider workforce in supporting children's learning. She worked with staff in schools on a variety of programmes, supporting continuing professional development, before taking on the role of PGCE Primary Pathway Leader (Peterborough) at Anglia Ruskin University when the course was launched in 2009.
I have taught on UG and PG courses and my areas of teaching include: Inclusion, pedagogical approaches to teaching and learning, special educational needs and work based learning.
