Keep in touch with your fellow alumni by participating in or setting up clubs and societies, or by getting involved in overseas events by volunteering as an International Ambassador.

Clubs and societies

  • CAMPUS, Cambridge Publishing Society, is the friendly forum for everybody in publishing and bookselling in the Cambridge area. They have lively guest speakers, stylish social events, heated debates, while always trying to enjoy themselves. They also aim to support the MA in Publishing course at ARU and spark off, at a time of rapid change, fresh thinking and broader insights into the fascinating trade. CAMPUS is a not-for-profit society run by a working group of volunteers, and membership is free. Visit www.cambridgepublishingsociety.org to find out more.
  • CUTEC, The Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club with members from both Cambridge and ARU, is the leading student-run organisation at the University of Cambridge. With a focus on technology venture capital, their mission is to enhance the entrepreneurial spirit amongst academics and students. Membership is open to alumni and around one in four of their members are from the Lord Ashcroft International Business School. Visit cutec.org/ for more information.

Please contact Helen (alumni@anglia.ac.uk) if you run an alumni group that you would like added to this list. We’d love to hear from you.

Overseas alumni

Our International Alumni Ambassadors are a network of volunteer alumni around the world who represent us in their home country.

Ambassadors are happy to be the point of contact between Anglia Ruskin and alumni in their country, helping us to maintain our relationship with our international alumni and those living and working overseas. Our ambassadors help host events for fellow alumni, serve as a contact for students in their area who're interested in Anglia Ruskin, and assist our academic staff and students travelling or studying abroad.

We'd like to expand our Ambassador network to cover as many countries as possible, so if there isn't an Ambassador in your country and you'd like to volunteer, please email us at alumni@anglia.ac.uk.

View our Overseas alumni webpage to find out more.

Information for alumni contacted by the Worldwide Association of Notable Alumni (WANA)
We’ve heard that there is a group contacting alumni on behalf of their former universities in order to charge them for joining alumni networks. We’d like to remind you that on completion of your studies, you’re automatically a member of our Anglia Ruskin alumni family and there is no fee to pay to join.

If you are contacted by anyone claiming to be taking payment on our behalf to join the alumni network, or are asked at any time to be ‘interviewed’ as a notable alumnus on our behalf, please email alumni@anglia.ac.uk or call 01245 684761. We will investigate it for you.
