Green Kids Ruskin Fun Day

16 February 2019, 11:00 - 15:00
Cambridge campus

Ruskin the Rhino gives a thumbs up

This half-term, the Global Sustainability Institute (GSI) has created a half-day of fun around the idea of sustainability for primary school age children!

Aimed at 4-11 year olds (and their grown-ups) we've arranged for some really interesting talks and made a trail of activities around six areas of sustainable living: water, energy, transport, food, recycling and nature.

Everyone who completes the trail will get a Green Kids Certificate, and be entered into a prize drawer to win a copy of the Lonely Planet Kids book, 101 Small Ways to Change the World.

Hosted in Anglia Ruskin University's new Science Centre, we think you'll have a brilliant time exploring what being a green kid means, and discovering ways to change the world!

The event is free to attend, and open to the public. We kindly request you register in advance, and all Green Kids must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
