Each year we give teaching staff at Anglia Ruskin the chance to develop and test innovative ways to embed Education for Sustainability (EfS) within their curriculum.
These grants are open to all staff involved in teaching or supporting students’ formal learning.
Applications for the current academic year have now closed and will re-open in September 2018.
The 2017-18 winners were awarded funds for the following projects:
Environmental and Sustainability Education conference - this project is looking at the effectiveness of a conference model to engage BA Primary Education Studies students with Environmental and Sustainability Education. The conference was held on Wednesday 24 January with findings due to be published this summer. In the meantime, you can read about the day in this blog.
Conservation Coasters - this project is looking at how inter-disciplinary working between students can help to raise awareness, and ultimately promote action, for a more sustainable world, with a particular focus on plastic pollution. Find out more.
Electric Athenaeum: A New Digital Magazine Exploring Sustainability in Science Fiction - this project involves the creation and publication of a magazine looking at the rights of future generations through the lens of science fiction.
