While current popular culture abounds with dystopian scenarios for the future, why not create utopian alternatives based on science fiction and science fact. This workshop for young writers explores how things we like or do not like about the globalised world may inspire creative reflection about alternatives. Join author Una McCormack and YA literature scholar Justyna Deszcz-Tryhubczak for writing activities that will inspire utopian imagination. Hosted by Centre for Science Fiction and Fantasy.

The workshop is suitable for 12-15 year olds.
